Ring Of Honor just announced that Low Ki has to stay in Japan and thus will miss the show next weekend where he was supposed to wrestle Paul London. This would be bad news, but for two things. The first of which is that Low Ki is staying in Japan most likely to wrestle Kaz Hayashi on All Japan's 4/12 show. I'm buying that show anyway, given that it features the return of The Man, The Myth, The Toshiaki Kawada to in-ring action after more than a year off, and Ki/Kaz should be a very good addition to that card. The second thing is that they're going to have London face the American Dragon Bryan Danielson instead. These two had one of the best matches I saw all of last year, and one of the top five matches in ROH history, on December 7, so I'm all for a rematch. Even better, ROH is letting fans vote on a stipulation for the match, between 2/3 falls, 30 minute iron man or no stip at all. I love that they allowed fans to pick no stip, and the other two options are both good choices as well, as they don't gimmick it up too much. But I'm very happy to see that 2/3 falls is kicking ass in the poll, as I think those two could have one hell of a match under those circumstances.
I'll be back with a complete preview of the show next week, and maybe I'll throw in a column detailing exactly what those top five matches in ROH history are in the next few days as well.
