Well, there still aren't any Mets game to talk about, what with the weather going all Biblical on the tri-state area, so how about a bit of minor league news?
Scott Kazmir pitched five innings again on Tuesday. Once again he didn't get a decision, but he did give up just one run on three hits while striking out eight and walking just one. So far this year he's pitched 34 2/3 innings for
Capital City, giving up 24 hits and sixteen walks while striking out 50. He's also got an ERA of 2.60.
As for the big-leaguers, tomorrow the Mets and Brewers will try to play two, starting at 4:10. Presumably
Steve Trachsel and
Tom Glavine will be on the mound for the Mets.
And lastly, the
Yankees are in second place again, because they can't beat the
Reds. And they're not too far from third place either. Go
Sox and
Jays!
