Reyes Getting Better
According to this article from the excellent NYFanSites.com, Jose Reyes and his strained groin are looking like they'll be ready for opening day, which is of course good news.
Also of note, Victor Diaz is apparently playing right field (and smacking extra base hits) in AAA camp. It's encouraging to see the Mets taking their hard-hitting player without a position and putting him in what, for the major league squad, is basically a position without a player. Hopefully Diaz takes to the move well enough to relieve Karim Garcia of his duties at some point this summer. ¶ joe | 4:42 PM |
