The Mets' deal with Yorvit Torrealba fell through. But Ramon Castro is signed. So they are still in need of one catcher. Hopefully Paul Lo Duca is so insulted by the Mets' treatment of him this offseason that he refuses to negotiate with them. ¶ joe | 11:42 PM |

Well, they are apparently at least going to re-sign Castillo, so hopefully that ends the "Courting Eckstein" talks. Though they also apparently lost Glavine to the Braves, so now instead of, "We could kind of use a starting pitcher," it's , "We REALLY NEED a starting pitcher."
